And countless of black folks have expressed serious issues with me about how the Democrats are trying to buy their vote. To be fair I think the Democrats have failed to seriously engage with the black community by neglecting how many of them are Baptist (who are usually very conservative). In fact the failure to see nuances in the Right wing has led to their constituent losses in many key regions in USA.
I say this as someone who has only voted Democrat (I'm your standard Bernie loving millennial).
