I guess people are worried about the slippery slope of allowing abortion that life itself in any form will come to have no value. I find this to be incredibly shortsighted, particularly since these same people often have no qualms about bombing entire countries because the government repeated a lie. They didn't mind the government determining the value of life, for as long as it didn't happen here.
