Insight is difficult to talk about. You may see patterns that are very clear in a person's behavior that they either a) are not cognizant of yet or b) refuse to acknowledge. If you doubt their interpretation of their own behavior, they may accuse you of invalidating them and their feelings. So, giving insight must be done with as much tact possible.
